Education Empowerment
Education remains a powerful tool for transformation. During our visit to Ikota Primary School in Lagos, we identified a simple but important challenge: many pupils lacked proper school bags and carried their books in nylon bags or by hand. To address this, we provided school bags and exercise books to pupils while also recognizing academic excellence by rewarding the top-performing students in each class. More than the supplies, the moment served as a reminder to the students that their effort matters and that their dreams are worth investing in.
Supporting Children with Disabilities
Our team carried out a targeted outreach to support children with disabilities, at Estate Primary School. During the visit, we identified several essential needs that impact both their comfort and learning experience. To help address these needs, we donated sanitary products, pampers, toiletries and specialized educational materials. The team also provided books designed for children with Down syndrome and writing materials for deaf and mute students. This initiative was a small step toward creating a more inclusive environment where every child feels seen, supported and empowered to learn.
Support the Motherless Babies
For children without parental care, small acts of kindness can make a world of difference. Through a staff-led outreach, our employees came together to support a motherless babies’ home caring for many young children. Recognizing the daily needs of the home, the team donated clothing, shoes, toys, learning materials and essential food provisions including milk, cereals, rice, and other nutritional items. Beyond the donations, the visit was an opportunity to share moments of warmth and connection with the children. It was a reminder that compassion and collective action can bring comfort and hope to those who need it most.
